Going away party on yours truly.

Here I am on this one. I don't know my measurements. The dress is an Ann Taylor misses 18. AT probably is vanity sized since it is a clothier for women 35+, a demographic that I'm solidly established in. On the other hand, I was wearing shapewear. The ensemble got a lot of compliments.

Birthday party outfit

Good afternoon!

There's a reason why I'm keeping this blog private. For my last outfit of my July social whirl, I have another David Meister Woman dress. Originally $508, I paid $50 and change for it at another Bloomingdale's sale.

Wearing it with a La Regale satin black evening bag and Giuseppe Zanotti satin black kitten-heel sandals.

I'm wearing it to a dear sorority sister's b-day.

Wedding outfit

In mid-July, I have a wedding to attend.

Planning to wear a David Meister Woman metallic dress that was one of my great Bloomingdale's finds. It was originally $500 or so, and I got it for $50.

Accessorizing with J. Crew gold mid-heel sandals and a J. Crew club green silk satin occasion clutch. I got over my phobia by looking at a JCG catalog that showed a model w/this clutch and suede shoes. You can mix satin w/leather.

The proposed outfit picture

July is a very eventful month for me. Last night was the first of five occasions I have coming up during the time.
This coming Friday, I have a going-away party for a friend. My planned outfit includes:
Ann Taylor dark brown silk chiffon dress.
Ann Taylor limelight "exotic" leather clutch bag.
Manolo Blahnik pewter sandals, which will be negotiated with Dr. Scholl's insoles. I am tall so I don't do 4-inch heels all the time.
